App Stuck at “Looking Up…”

When you tap on the “Lookup” button, the app is supposed to take you to the result page for the phone number you have entered. However, sometimes users get stuck on a “Looking Up…” page. This documentation will guide you through the steps to resolve this issue.

Check Your Internet Connection
If you are stuck on a “Looking Up…” state, the first thing to check is your internet connection. Ensure that you have a stable internet connection because a poor or unstable connection can cause the app to get stuck on the “Looking Up…” state. While this app does not use much bandwidth, the speed of your connection does help it retrieve the result faster.

Try Again
If you have a stable internet connection and the app is still stuck on the “Looking Up…” state, try tapping the stop button on the right inside of the Lookup button, and then tap the lookup button again.

Try Refreshing
If trying again doesn’t work, try refreshing the app. This can be done by closing the app completely and reopening it.

Check for Updates
Make sure that you have the latest version of the app installed on your device. Sometimes, older versions of the app may have bugs or compatibility issues that can cause it to get stuck on the “Looking Up…” state.
